About Us

Medserv was established in 2005 and has rapidly grown to become the largest company specialising in medical billing in the UK & Ireland.

Our clients include hospital consultants of all specialties, GP's, clinics as well as hospitals. We have clients in all all major hospitals throughout Ireland and the UK and we have links with all main health insurers as well as the HSE and NHS.

The Team

As our company has grown, so too has our team. We have assembled a dynamic group from differing backgrounds such as insurance, customer service, accounting and medicine, all of whom bring different strengths to the table.

Our in-house training programme ensures the continuous professional development of all staff members, keeping the team up to date with new technology and new procedures at all times.

Given the sensitive nature of the information we process we have to be sure that we have all the necessary processes and checks in place when it comes to Data Protection and GDPR compliance.

We have voluntarily been audited by the (Data Protection Commission in Ireland) and independently audited by PwC to test the robustness of our IT security systems. Protecting the sensitive information we have on file is a primary focus for us at all times.

Cormac is an Engineer and MBA from Dublin. Upon graduating from UCD, Cormac began his career in regulated pharmaceutical industries as well as being involved in several start-ups prior to founding Medserv. Cormac’s family are very involved in the clinical side of healthcare, which is where the original concept to provide solutions and efficiencies for medical practitioners came about. An engineer in his thinking, Cormac likes to push himself not only in business but also in his personal time and has completed several marathons and Ironman events both in Ireland and Internationally. Cormac lives in Dublin and when he is not looking for his next race or thinking of new ways to improve his businesses, he spends time with his three young children; Joseph, Pippa and Theo.

Kevin has been a valued member of the Medserv team for 10 years. He studied History and Classics in UCD and having initially considered becoming a teacher he decided to bring this skill set and love of teaching to the private sector. Kevin enjoys building teams and supporting and developing his staff. After working as Radiology Manager for Medserv Ireland he then took up the position of UK General Manager, 5 years ago. In this time he has overseen the successful development of the business, growing the company, and making Medserv a well respected and recognised brand in UK Medical Billing. Kevin has played football all his life and has been coaching underage teams for the past 10 years, all of which have involved his 3 children.

Lisa started her career as a Customer Support Agent in one of the largest electricity supply companies in the UK and Ireland. Lisa’s passion for people and understanding of how to match the individual with the process enabled her to successfully manage and develop new teams across varying industries. Having used these skills in managing a medical recruitment team, Lisa had the perfect background and knowledge to take on her next challenge as Remote Practice Support Manager with Medserv. As RPM Manager Lisa's goal is to grow her people as much as it is to grow her department. When Lisa isnt looking after her team and clients she is entertaining her two girls, cat Simon and dog Winnie.

Katherine has been with Medserv for over 5 years now. Having completed her Degree in Maths and Accounting at the University of Sheffield she began her career in the Private Healthcare Industry working at Aviva. Katherine took this experience to her first role at Medserv starting out in data processing before quickly moving up through the ranks to become Medserv UKs first Client Account Manager. When Katherine is not keeping all of Medservs clients happy she likes to spend her time playing football and travelling with her fiance.

Sara joined Medserv in February 2016 after moving to Haywards Heath from Ireland. After completing her studies Computing with Business in St Johns Central College in Cork she began her career in Credit Control. Originally hired as the sole Credit Controller for the UK office now managing a team who deal in the self pay accounts for both our UK and Ireland offices. With 20 years experience in Credit Control, across various business sectors, Sara enjoys the challenges of managing a team in a busy growing department. In her down time she enjoys reading, gaming with her partner and hanging out with their two cats Albert and Darwin.

Justyna started her working life in Recruitment. A job that requires a love for people and excellent communication skills, Justyna transferred those skills to her Medserv career to great effect. Starting out in the AR Department she quickly progressed up the ladder to her current role as Processing Team Manager. When she is not overseeing the accurate processing of invoices, Justyna loves to eat good food and listen to good music.
